About Speak & Code Juku

Future Foundations for Children, Powered by SEELS

Speak & Code Juku (SCJ) is a future-focused learning program and brand owned by SEELS Co., Ltd. in Japan, a social enterprise dedicated to empowering teachers, children, and communities through education and technology.

SCJ brings together strong teachers, proven pedagogy, and responsible AI support to give children a solid foundation in literacy, math, coding, and emotional intelligence— all within one coherent, future-ready learning pathway.

The 4-in-1 Future Foundations Pathway

The result is a 4-in-1 pathway that integrates complementary skill areas into a single, coherent experience. Instead of juggling multiple centers and schedules, families receive one carefully designed program that brings together:

Emotional Intelligence (EQ)

Communication & Emotional Literacy

Children learn to express how they feel, listen to others, and handle simple social situations in English. EQ-based activities build self-awareness, empathy, and confidence in speaking.

Montessori Phonics + Systematic Synthetic Phonics

Deep Reading & Writing Foundations

Using Montessori materials and Jolly Phonics, SCJ builds sound–symbol awareness, decoding skills, spelling, and early writing so children can read with understanding, not just memorize.

Walnut Coding

Scratch & Python Coding for Kids

Through structured Scratch and Python lessons, learners design animations, games, and projects that sharpen logic, creativity, and digital confidence in a safe environment.

Abacus MindMath

Focus, Discipline & Mental Math

Abacus training builds concentration, number sense, and mental calculation speed, supporting school math and developing grit through consistent practice.

Together, these four components form the Future Foundations Microschool model under Speak & Code Juku: one enrollment, one schedule, but a rich blend of literacy, numeracy, coding, and EQ.

Teacher-Led Learning, Strengthened by AI & Digital Support

A key difference of Speak & Code Juku (SCJ) is how we use AI and digital technology responsibly to strengthen learning outcomes while keeping teachers at the center of the classroom.

What AI & Digital Tools Do

  • Help teachers prepare differentiated practice sets and worksheets
  • Support progress tracking and learning documentation
  • Identify learning gaps early so teachers can intervene
  • Improve consistency across SCJ hubs, schools, and partner sites

What AI & Digital Tools Do NOT Do

  • Do not replace teachers or tutors
  • Do not teach children independently
  • Do not operate without adult supervision
  • Do not remove hands-on, Montessori-inspired learning
All instruction, coaching, and assessment at SCJ are led by trained educators. AI and digital tools exist only to reduce routine workload, improve visibility of progress, and allow teachers to focus more deeply on mentoring, observation, and child development.

For parents, this means clear progress and safer learning.
For schools and institutions, it means quality control, scalability, and partnership readiness.

Governance & Responsible Use of Technology

Speak & Code Juku follows a teacher-led instructional model supported by carefully governed digital tools. All teaching, tutoring, coaching, and assessment are conducted by qualified human educators.

The organization operates an internally managed, program-specific language model designed exclusively to assist teachers with lesson preparation, practice design, and progress organization. Learners do not engage in unsupervised interaction with digital systems, and all use aligns with child-protection, data-privacy, and school governance standards.

SEELS Japan & SEELS PH: Roles and Governance

Why Schools Partner With Speak & Code Juku

Schools, institutions, and education partners choose Speak & Code Juku (SCJ) not just for its curriculum, but for its governance structure, teacher-centered design, and responsible use of AI and digital tools.

Strong Governance & Quality Control

  • Curriculum ownership and standards governed by SEELS Co., Ltd. (Japan)
  • Clear separation between curriculum design, delivery, and local operations
  • Defined training pathways and certification requirements for teachers
  • Consistent quality across flagship hubs, schools, and community sites

Teacher-Led, AI-Supported Implementation

  • Clear safeguarding, supervision, and child-protection principles

Partnership-Ready & Scalable

  • Suitable for private schools, LGUs, foundations, and CSR initiatives
  • Adaptable to urban flagship hubs and rural or community-based sites
  • Supported by teacher training, materials, and implementation guidance
  • Designed for long-term collaboration, not one-off programs
SCJ is not a standalone product. It is a structured, governed education model that schools can adopt with confidence— knowing that quality, safety, and instructional integrity are protected at every level.

For schools, SCJ offers a ready-to-deploy, future-ready program.
For institutions and partners, it provides a credible platform for scalable, accountable, and socially responsible education delivery.

Social Enterprise Promise: Every 10 Students, 1 Scholar

Speak & Code Juku operates as a social enterprise, not just a commercial learning center. A key part of the model is a simple but powerful commitment:

For every 10 full-paying students enrolled at flagship hubs such as Ayala Alabang or BGC, SEELS commits to supporting 1 scholar from a less-served community into SCJ programs, through authorised SEELS PH community sites.

This means that when families enrol in premium locations, they are also helping:

One child learns in Ayala Alabang.
Another child learns in a less privileged community.
Both are part of the same future-ready Speak & Code Juku pathway.

WLATA: A Future Pathway for Educators and Investors

As Speak & Code Juku grows, SEELS is preparing a White Label Access & Training Agreement (WLATA) pathway for highly trained educators and aligned partners.

Who Can Qualify?

  • Graduates of the SEELS Digital Montessori Education Diploma & License (Japan)
  • Graduates of specialist SCJ-focused teacher training courses in the Philippines
  • Private schools, education entrepreneurs, and investors who share SEELS’ mission

A key condition of WLATA is that teachers and key academic coordinators must be graduates of SEELS programs, ensuring that the educational DNA of Speak & Code Juku is preserved as it scales.

What WLATA Partners May Do

  • Operate SCJ-aligned programs under their own local brand
  • Access SEELS curricula, training, and implementation support
  • Commit to SEELS standards for pedagogy, child protection, and social impact

In this way, SCJ can grow through carefully selected partners, while maintaining its identity as a mission-driven, quality-first program.

CSR & Robotics Hackathon Partnerships

SEELS also welcomes CSR partnerships with companies and foundations who want to link innovation, inclusion, and education.

Robotics & Coding for High-End Schools

Through collaboration with partners such as Walnut Education, SEELS can design 5-day robotics and coding hackathons for premium and high-end schools. These events:

  • Engage students in hands-on robotics and coding challenges
  • Showcase innovation and future skills within the school community
  • Highlight the company’s commitment to education and technology

CSR-Driven Community Deployments

The same hackathon framework can be adapted for CSR-driven deployments in less privileged communities, public schools, or LGU partner sites.

  • Company partners sponsor equipment, training, and facilitation
  • Children in underserved areas experience the same robotics and coding tools
  • Impact is visible, measurable, and deeply aligned with SEELS’ social mission

For every high-visibility event in a premium campus, SEELS encourages partners to consider a parallel or follow-up program in a community that needs it most.
